Depot Beach

We went to Depot Beach which was a really cool beach and we collected really cool shells.
We used a fishing net to try to catch little fish but they were too smart.
Dad didn't catch any fish either!
At the campground there was a pizza oven! You had to put wood in it to heat it up.
We made some dough with flour, yeast and water.
Then it expanded because of the yeast.
We punched the dough after one and a half hours.
Then we made yummy pizza.
We cooked it in the oven. Yummy yummy.
This one got a bit burnt but we ate it.
The camp fire was really fun. We got a jumbo marshmallow and two pieces of chocolate each.
The next day we went on a log that we pretended was a choo choo train. The rock pools where we fished yesterday had filled up with water.
The burnt pizza still looked yummy. It reminded me of eating potatoes cooked in coals. The skins were often charcoal, but we ate them anyway, usually laden with butter and salt. What a lot of different beaches you have swum at. The crispy waves sounded like fun. Glendie. X
